A high-pressure, 3-ply air hose custom extruded by Continental. It features an inner EPDM core, an over-braided nylon matrix, and an outer EPDM jacket designed to withstand up to 200 psi continuous pressure and over 600 psi burst pressure. This specialised construction eliminates hose expansion so all your pumping power transfers strictly into inflating the tire.
The beautiful, heavy brass fitting is the historic Silca 27.0 reversible chuck. It contains a threaded brass end cap that can be unscrewed to reverse the internal synthetic elastomer gasket, allowing it to accommodate both Presta and Schrader valves natively.
This kit is backward-compatible with almost all vintage and modern generations of the legendary Silca Pista and SuperPista floor pumps manufactured from 1948 onwards.
